Today, at around 10:30 am, my grandfather Bruce Davidson Davie passed away from heart complications.

He served in the Navy during WW2 and took part in many crucial Pacific Theatre battles.

He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

My Grandfather was a vet and passed away recently. He got the last post played at his funeral, and had the Aussie flag draped over his coffin. It was beautiful.

Sorry for your loss, but it sounds like he was a great man.

His memory will no doubt live on.

RIP.

Know that all of our soldiers both serving now and whom have served do it so we NEVER forget the Diggers!

My deepest regrets and deepest support for you all even this far on.

We will never forget them and we will not let their deeds go in vain!
