R.I.P. Dr. Peter Hornby
Its hard. I saw the family yesterday. The only way I can describe it is spooky. Not having Peter sitting in his chair with a Coopers in hand struggle to get up to show me the newest toy he had been playing with.
This man, is the most briliant mind I have ever had the chance of not just meeting, but being a friend of. He saw fakes, and shot them apart in such a swift and structured manner. He was unbelievibly smart. At a point he would talk about something that anyone could understand, and then take of on a total tangent about something so complex and involved it would leave those interested questioning everything.
I extend for a very dear friend who will be sorely missed, my complete condolences to my two best friends and their families.
I will sorely miss our conversations Peter, and hope that the troublesome P and Q in your equations leave you alone where ever you have ended up.
Let us hope your research lives on, and the break through is realised.
Rest in Peace, Dr Peter Hornby.

I love two strokes. Because they annoy the shit out of people.
