it is a shame that he learned the hard way. overtaking on a bend is crazy, double white lines are there for a reason and I hope others will learn from this. RIP[/b]
I know Ryecroft road and the bend(s) in question. It has blind corners in a semi-residential area and is trafficked by vehicles doing at about 80kph. If he really was overtaking on one of the bends on that road, it certainly was a serious error of judgement (to say the least). Whether or not this is in fact what happened, I also hope others learn from this tragedy. RIP
