RIP.
A very Sad Day indeed.
W@R rides were always interesting with you about.
One of my last rides with Gordy he spun up the rear leaving McChucks Sth Perth and low sided at about 2kph. TEC got all the best views.
Marc Bates (Scumbag) always told the tale of Gordy Standup overtaking on the freeway but making sure to indicate every lane change,Flash Flash, it went on and on and on. It was one of Marc's favorite tale's.
Be sure to say hi to the Marc and the Boy's up there Gordy, Perth roads will never be the same.
Ride Free.

i just dont know where to start ................
gordy i met you a fews years back when there were ONLY a hand full of us that headed to scarbs , even back then you were
a quiet person that never spoke bull shit and was a true gentlemen ...........
today to hear of your passing has shocked and choked me up with emotion , to think that just a few nites ago i was standing
talking to you about our semi trailers has hit home hard .......
as others have stated YOU WERE BY FAR THE MOST GENEROUS,KIND AND HONEST PERSON ive had the pleaser to have known
the way that you could throw a road, trail bike around was a gift that many of us still cant do .... i will miss going down to scarbs and
not seeing you there in your black jacket and standing in your favorite spot ( up against the rail )...
you would always have a laugh with me about my old motorcycle club members , and how they all dwindled away and that just a few
members are still around .........
mate from my old crew ELITE FACTOR M/CYCLE CLUB to you mate ...................... have fun in heaven we will miss you cheers
ozy

He was a great man and the world is a sadder place with out him.

Gordy I didn't know you, but judging by the impact you left with those on PSB you were a truly outstanding and inspiring bloke. To influence so many people's life's is something you should be very proud of.
I look forward to meeting you in heaven.
Sincerely,
James

I met Gordy once. I was outside a place I was looking to rent waiting for the agent, and a bald bloke on a Z1000 rocked up to look at the same place. We looked at each other for a few minutes then nodded and started talking about PSB. It was the only time I ever met him, and we had a pleasant chat about bikes.
Rest in peace.

"Wheelies on the Rocks"
Gerro trip, September/October 2005
We had just ridden down to some rock formations just on the outskirts of town. People are parking their bikes up so I can take photos of them.
My old 250
The Gang
Out of nowhere i hear a bike revving its tits off, its Gordy and he is doing jumps on the rocks! I fumble with my camera and manage to miss all the action.
Here Gordy is contemplating what to do next...
Moments earlier Gordys bike was here, before a large wave came through
Keep on riding you mofo...

Hypno
I had many a coffee with your father late at night at scarbs when no-one else was around...
I myself am most of the time estranged from my son who is nearly 19
When your father spoke of you his eyes would shine then glisten with joy and pride of you.
your father thought of you and how you were going every single day
may your father rest in peace.
the tears i am shedding as I type remind me that life is not always rosy
regards
craig

Hypno,
Your dad has been a mate to me for more than 15 years, over that time we have shared many great times away doing what we love best, he was the type of guy to me that when you finnish a conversation with him and dont see him for a while, we could pick it up as if it were yesterday, no matter how much time had past or what had happened in between. Truely a mate, be proud of him celebrate his life as he has a presence within us all .
