Paul Broomfield a true motorcross champion has sadly passed away from a rare blood disorder Aplastic anemia.
Paul recently had a bone marrow transplant recently that unfortunately was not successful. As a result he was put on life support before succumbing to the disease in the early hours of 13 April 2011.
Paul was not only a great rider, but over the years has played many roles, including but certainly not limited to: magazine contributor, accredited high performance coach, member of the Australian Team at the Motocross of Nations and managing the Australian Team at the 2010 Junior World Motocross Championship.
My thoughts are with Paul's family.
Paul you have left so many good memories in the hearts of everyone who knew you.
RIP Paul
xx
