RIP - Troy "Hughesy" Hughes - Fellow member of the Patriots with my mum. Good friend of all of us.

You will forever be in our hearts. Keep on riding.

I'm still in shock.. it wasnt that long ago that we saw him.




Message from my mum to Hughesy

"You will be missed Hughesy!! You will ride on in our hearts forever!! One day we will meet again on that long highway in the sky!! Ride on Brother!!"

Donnybrook Police are seeking information from the public to assist their inquiries into the identity of two victims of a traffic crash on Gavins Road, Argyle about 3 pm Thursday.
A spotter plane saw smoke coming from Gavin’s Road. “They sent the fire personnel out to deal with the fire and they realised it was a crash,” said Sergeant Ray Anderson.

Firefighters found two bodies in the car.

It appears the blue 1997 VS model Holden Commodore station wagon — registration plate H19206 — was travelling east along Gavins Road before leaving the road and crashing into the tree.

Police identified the car from the engine number, and last week spoke to the owner, a Bunbury man who said he had loaned the car to another person. Two people were in the car and they are yet to be formally identified.

Police believe it is possible the car was using Gavins Road to travel between Capel and South Western Highway because this is a well used route between the two locations. “The vehicle was travelling east, possibly coming from Capel towards the South West Highway,” Sergeant Anderson said. “The vehicle lost control — we don’t why at this point — collided with a tree and caught on fire.

“Two people died in the car and at this stage we don’t know under what circumstances.”

If any members of the public saw the car described driving in the Gavins Road area on Thursday or witnessed the crash they are asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000."

i used to go windsurfing with him and his Dad Ken in the estuary. havent seen him in years sad to see a good bloke pass .
