digital camera repairs ???

fuggggit , things seem to be breaking down at a fast rate here

was taking some photo's last night and dropped the bag with my camera in it

(PENTAX *IST DS) and now the built inflash wont work, think i might have damaged the bulb, the flash still pops up when required, but wont fire .

anybody got any recomendations on camera repair places??????

oh and my backyard water feature pump died, but thats prolly the cheapest thing to fix replace

Camera Electronic in North Perth can fix it but you'll certainly pay for it.

yeah, i was thinking of them , i rang pentax in Oxford Close, West leederville, they of course can have a look at it, after january 7th when their service dept opens up again

There's a guy upstairs in the Morley markets who does camera repairs.

C.R. Kennedy in Leederville is where most camera shops would send it anyway. The other camera repairers would have to buy parts through them as well (probably with inflated profit margins added on). Maybe the Head Office is open before the 7th Jan?

They sold me a part for my old istDS over the phone and sent it to me so if you want to have a tinker yourself you might be able to get what you need.

Cals Camera Repair; Hay St, EXCELLENT SERVICE, , cost $160 to do a full service on Pentax SLR digi and a couple lenses. Its just a small shop on second level up a flight of stairs nmothing flash but knows what he is doing.

Anyone now if any of those places could replace the view screen on a fuji? I kinda fell over in the snow at work and landed on my camera Only bought it in Dubai on the way here three weeks ago too

i have exactly the same problem on my camera corks...i'm bringing it to camera repairs in morley markets (as jonchilds mentioned) soon.

if you get yours done soon it'd be handy if i can find out how much it costs. cheers.
