    An excellent Perth Ford dealer.

Not sure if I mentioned this elsewhere, but if you're in the market for a new Ford, go speak with George Okunev at Park Ford in Bentley. He can be called on 9415 0523.

He's absolutely no bullshit, no hard sell and bent over backwards to take care of us. First car salesman I can honestly say I that I like and would not hesitate to deal with again. The guy drove our new car out to Merredin to do the change over to ensure we got it on a day that suited us, didn't rush the hand over, made sure we were happy with everything many times over and not once said "No, we can't do that."

So yeah, strongly recommended if anybody is in the market. I doubt there's anything in it for me if you mention my name, but it couldn't hurt to say that Cameron in Kalgoorlie recommended him Moreso I've just dealt with enough asshats to know how painful it is, and this guy just made everything damned easy.

Park Ford service is first rate.

We bought our Focus Zetec from Range Ford, they're shocking.
Park Ford is where it's been ever since then, great people.

    beg to differ there mate....
when a dealer has a vehicle still in warrenty & refuses to work on it cause they dont like particular type of ford vehicle then to me they arent worth a knob of goat shit

all well & good if you own a run of the mill vehicle i guess but after being in particular industry working with/for numerous ford dealers for the past 15yrs.. they are all much of a muchness.. depends who you deal with on the day

personal feeligns are if john hughes finds out about shitty service they give then all hell will break loose...
JH is renowned for hauling staff over the coals that give shit service.. i dare say things will change around there soon enough

I'm sure Cam won't mind me posting these. (Cam: let me know if you want originals)

I'm still getting the hang of the enw camera, need some filters for it.

I'd just like to add something here.

I know George personally (used to work with him) and he is a top bloke. Takes his job seriously too.

When my wife bought her last car, we dealt with him. As some of you may remember I had some issues with another car dealership, that tied our hands and we were not able to continue our purchase with George. Most people when put in his position would have been somewhat irate. He handled it with a completely professional attitude, and was very helpful in providing advice about the situation.

So I'll second what Cam has already said.
No amount of genius can overcome a preoccupation to detail.

We've bought 5 focuses (focii?) *for work* from Park ford and the fleet guys are also very helpful and didn't try to stitch our asses over anything, would go back in a minute! If only I could afford a Focus XR5 Turbo

    $47k.

The XR5 starts at "$42,990", plus on roads, stamp duty, etc..etc..etc... and there's a few grand in that, then we had tints, boot protector and bluetooth voice control stuff added in. After on roads and the extras we were looking at about $50k rrp. From memory George made the lower offer, then gave us a really excellent trade in offer on our Mazda 2 (they will be lucky to make a grand on that at sale, it's not a bad car, they've just lost a tonne in value) and yeah, we feel we got a really solid deal on it. Not an absolute steal, but it's a quality ride at a fair price.

It was all the little stuff he did for us too, it's really clear that he does take his job seriously and he should be bloody proud of how good he is.

    big to differ about what?

Range Ford refused to rectify a problem with my wife's Focus Zetec, which is less than 12mths old, under warranty and clearly a warranty fix. instead they continually tried skirting around the issue, insinuating that we broke it (how anyone can break an a/c compressor??) and stalling us time after time after time. I dealt with pretty much every person there including the service manager which tells me it's not a "person on the day" problem, and more of a "whole company" attitude.

So, went to Park Ford for 15k service. Mentioned the problem with the a/c, they looked at it while in for service, rang me and said it had to be replaced, was covered under warranty, replacement was ordered that day and booked in for 3 days later and it was all done and dusted.

To me, that's first-rate service, especially coming off the back of the complete and utter shite service that Range Ford gave us. If you do a search here, you'll find another PSB member also with a Focus Zetec, bought from Range Ford with similar issues with the car and the level of service provided (or not provided to be accurate).

I stand by my vote of happiness with Park Ford.

I truly wish I had read this before I bought my xr6t from range ford
Pushed and pushed the sale and that was it.
Rimhad a scratch asked for it to be replaced and 3 plugs seals in the boot.
"We will see what we can do"
Asked them about it "oh, we couldn't do that"
That in mind, I've always got cheaper parts when I need something fixed usually because they have dicked me around and caused it ... ...

I bought my ute from Park Ford. On my second service they replaced a few interior parts (that I broke) under warranty and I didn't expect them to do it.

Nice car, bought the wife a Turbo deisel Mondeo recently from Titan Ford. Superb service and car. Tend to drive the Mondeo more than my BF XR8 ute.

worked as a car detailer at Range Ford in Maddington once,, and it was just the once,

depends on who you talk to on the day also applies to a company issue of fix or not fix, buggered if I know how they work out their company policies.

and as far as service and repairs go, well if I did own a ford and had to take it there for a service I would take it to a holden dealer~!

Now I have a new yaris, fart box it has been nicked named, had a couple of probs with tinting which went back 4 times as it wouldnt take to window, dealer just replaced window after 4th visit and radio, blue tooth wouldnt play the game, ended up sitting a teenager in the passenger seat handed him the phone and said knock yourself out, he had it all set up in less time it took for the rep to finish his smoke.

I went into Park Ford 1 yr ago and didnt get served until i went up to the counter and asked for help. I asked if they had any Typhoons in stock and the reply was"We have 2 coming in next week" I then left my contact details and was told that they will call me. I didnt get a call and had to call them 2 weeks later. I then had this reply"we dont have any and never did have any coming in" This was from another salesman. I then bought my car from sebastion at Nuford Wangara. I will be going back there when the 08 model comes out as i had great service.
