We go thru labour hire places like hays or integrated for our TA's and the like.

Also if he goes out and gets crane and forklift tickets it will increase the chance of getting a job.

You could ring just about any drilling company at the moment and get a start as an offsider. Hard work but plenty of demand at the moment. Companies Laynes Drilling (Kal based) Grimwood davies (kal based) Western deephole/ drill corp (perth based Wangarra) Northwest Drilling, Ausdrill. A few to get things started at least.

I ain't Trades Adviser, nor a recruitment consultant, but aprocimatly ;

$35/Hr 12 Hrs a day 2/1 roster

35x12=420x14=$5900

52 weeks :3=18__________________________________

$5900x18=$106200 plus 9% supercontribution! (+/-18 swings in ayear.)

close to 120K a year.

For trades people the Hr'ly rate is much higher.
