Fitter and turner by trade, been around bikes for 20 years, have shed, tools mig welder.
So if you need some welding done, kids swing set broken or need a gate made etc, or your not mechanically minded or have no tools and need new blades on the mower, or you need new brake pads or chain and sprokets on the bike but want someone to give you a hand coz youve not done it b4, then PM me and we'll work something out. I work 4 days on 4 off so usually have plenty of time for small jobs.

    Cheers

    Sean

I need 2 small 'washers' made up - they go on the prop shaft of an 8hp boat motor..

I've got them here, could make them up in about 10 minutes tops.. but I just dont have a lathe..

Pretty simple stuff - but I need 3 copies of the 2 'washers' made up.. they are called 'thrust washers' and prevent the propeller scuffing on the gearbox and prevent the propeller moving back and forth on the spline..

I need them made from brass ( as it's soft and easily destructible ) but would settle for 1 stainless and a couple brass.. *( just to see the difference )*

If you've gotta tool up for the job, we might as well make a couple..

Let me know, I'll bring them past and you can have a looksie.. or I can post some digital pics on here..

Only problem is that I require them reasonably urgent.. like say, in the next week... as I've got to give the originals back to the owner as he needs them for his motor..
