There was a particular site looking for people, that I think was in the sea between norway and germany, south of oslo. that would be a pretty sweet place to work.

Yep thought about all that, real great, how do you pay your mortgage?

wouldnt you just set up a direct debit from the account number to the bank and let the computers take car of the rest.....or open an account with a foreign bank and change your mortgage lender to that bank

Either way would work although you would struggle to get an overseas institution giving a mortgage over a property here.

If it was an investment property, ATO may get wind of the payments coming from overseas but you just have a great uncle dont ya!!

Walk to bank, withdraw cash from ATM via Visa Credit/Debit Card on offshore bank account... walk into bank pay cash all done. As long as it inst 5K a day it wont be picked up on automation, but an audit is another point, but then they have to prove blah blah blah, as said your uncle pays your bills for you he&#39;s a freakin champ.

Second choice would work if you can find a bank to lend you mortgage on property foreign to their soil.. works when there&#39;s millions involved but not always when its smaller amounts.. but who knows till you ask!
