    Rear Projection Tele

We've been given a rear projection TV. Bloody big mother with one slight prob.
A couple of the colours don't line up. Now I've been through all the manual adjustments possible, and done some research on the net.

As best as I can make out, one or more of the boards for the adjustment of the guns has probably got a dud joint/solder. BTW, I've even tried manually adjusting the guns, but it all points to a dud joint.

So in the infinite wisdom of you lot, worth getting it fixed, who will do it. Or should we just return it with a "thanks but no thanks"?

I've got a sneaking suspicion I know the answer...but no harm in hoping.

Stop. Leave it alone. Most rearpro CRTs have a manual convergence hiden in the service menu which can then be saved to the auto covergence function if supported. Through moving the guns manually, you're potentially making it hard for yourself to use the convergance fucntion in the system.

LG by any chance? If so, ive done it many times to my own. I cant imagine the service menus are all that different.
In complete darkness we are all the same. It is only our knowledge and wisdom that seperate us. Dont let your eyes deceive you.
Its the little things that make the difference
