how do you match other controllers to the door

Depends on the model.

Have a look on the box, find the brand and model, look up the mfr. Often the manuals are online (if you have a spare controller you need to match) or the mfr will be able to tell you. It's different for all of them.

i have a merlin, if yours is the same, theres an agent in joondalup. new remotes are $65 and piss easy to code.
