Trackstick. GPS tracker/plotter.
Has anyone used one of these or a similar GPS plotter ?
I only have GPS to see where I am going / need top go. Not where I have been.
I could get a lot out of it though I think.
The Trackstick II is the perfect fit for personal GPS tracking. Bring it on vacation to keep a satellite scrapbook of all your travels and record your explorations. You can carry it along on all your regular outings from home to get a better sense of your daily surroundings through Google™ Earth’s cohesive 3D maps of your community. With Trackstick II™ a computer screen can guide your family and friends on a virtual tour of your vacation.

That sounds great. Might look into it for my trip to Europe.
But maybe between phone, camera and other electronic toys I think I'll run out of power points in hotel rooms.

I have the same problem with taking stuff trekking. Different transformers adaptors and cables for everything.

I have been looking at the Nokia 6110 Navigator. A phone and a GPS in one. Better than the N95 because that just uses packet data to work out where you are, the 6110 Navigator is actually a hand held GPS.
Now to get work to buy it for me on a next G plan. Then I can call people when I'm lost in the desert.

I have a 6110, and I love it, haven't had a single problem with it yet.
Out bush the maps might be a bit average. If you're going seriously off road you can't beat a Magellan.

you sure about that one champ?
N95 has a GPS receiver built in. Works well in aircraft at 38,000 feet which I am pretty sure is out of cell tower range
