Question WANTED: IT Consultant

As the title suggests - we need a new IT consultant at work.

Primarily for troubleshooting/fixing issues on our SBS2003 box at work.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a person or company who you may have dealt with? Prefer to deal with individuals or small companies.

Work would be on an hourly basis, probably a fair bit to begin with then tapering to say 10-20 hours a month once things are 'fixed'. This would be highly dependable on what projects we would require assistance with etc (i.e. upgrade projects, new software etc etc).

PM me for more info plz.

I dunno... I think SBS has it's place. 2003 is sooooo much better than 2000 too! I've installed a few 2008 servers in the past weeks, and looking forward to the SBS release. (Can't believe I just said that!)

I'm quite partial to my Linux systems, but do believe every system has it's benefits, depending on the organisation.

Sounds like I'm a fence sitter eh?! Well I'm not! Macs still suck! hehe

If I run into something I can't sort out, I've had dimension data out before and Jurgen is pretty good. Maybe overkill for a little SBS stand-alone box though.

He sorted out a whole bunch of tombstoned DC's for me when I first started back at Byrnecut (heh, day 3 of my employment and half the DCs on the domain shit themselves because they haven't replicated in over 3 months ).

I'd also vouch for PCGURU - i used to subcontract for Jason when I was between jobs, and one way or another he's a guy who will make sure your problem gets sorted out.

Truly this is the case. How much he has helped us in the past 3 days is amazing.

Thanks again Smeghead!

If anyone needs this sort of help then get in contact with him. Has my unreserved recommendation.
