Wanted: FIFO I.T Work

Been sitting on my ass since november doing very little and a whole lot of nothing and it's time to find a job!

Considering FIFO IT work, have found a couple hits on seek, but thought I would open it to the wonderful world of PSB.

So if anyone is in the know, would like to hear from you

HAHA nice idea smoo, but hacking a webserver isn't exactly the IT challenge you'd think

Polish; Was in IT manager/sole monkey for 4 years for an accountant firm with main office and infrastructure in Perth and two rural offices.. about 70-80 terminals give or take staff fluctuations, ran all MS Server 2000 and 2003, Exchange 2003 (Take Domino anyday!) with IBM and Clone servers, Small Citrix Farm for Remote Desktops and Published apps to remote and local networks, done Citrix Admin courses for Citrix PS4 and 4.5, designed and implemented full cisco network with multiple ADSL's in regional area's bonded to get half decent speeds.

So basically jacks of all trades, from lowly tech work, upgrading bosses notebook mem and defragging his porn drive to building server clusters from boxes of parts.

Was looking at something challenging enough to keep me motivated but after 4yrs of one man show, don’t really want something I have to take home with me every night, was thinking maintaining servers, server builds, network LAN/WAN, VOIPs etc etc

Will have my resume done by end of the week hopefully

These are the kind of roles we have going ... some are proving very hard to fill from what i've heard. Some roles are in Perth, others over East. Names are a bit vague but thats because they are in-house roles rather than industry standard titles.... but it gives a bit of an idea of what is out there at ONE company, let alone all the others.
