02WTK-What can i do with a broken camera?

So i love pulling things apart, though normally i do it before they are broken, and subsequently they end up broken.
Since i had my camera on my bike when i crashed the other day its fucked. screen broken, lens broken the lot. it powers on but is fucked.
Now i can pull it apart.
Im wondering if there is anything cool i should try and salvage from it, maybe something useful in some back yard science experiments?
im already thinking the flash mechanism for some high voltage fun but is there anything else?

Its a 7.2MP sony cybershot if that makes any difference

lol thanks RC i had a feeling thats what you were referring too but i wasnt quite sure how it actually had something to do with what i was asking haha.
turns out i dont have a screw driver small enough so force is doing well so far

have you got the smarts to use the electronics? build yourself a high resolution still security camera?
control via usb and dl straight to PC. should need a screen. just get a fixed focus replacement lens.

Attempt to claim under warranty.

Tell them you only had the camera a short while, you left it on the table - heard a loud noise and came back and discovered your camera in exactly the same spot but in that state - blame Sony for the obvious fault that must have occurred.

demand a brand new replacement.
