Australia Post stole my stuff (and Koola sucks cock)

    Hi guys,

I had a Parcel sent via Australia Post Express Post (Not Platinum)

They say that they delivered at 5pm on Friday, but its bullshit as I was home.

They say cant do anything until the person who sent it does something and it will take up to 8 weeks!

Is there anyway I cant find out who the thieving c&nt of a contractor is for my area?

Have you checked at your nearest Australia Post Shop? Maybe the contractor carded your parcel...

    What area are you in?

I have a great relationship with the guy that does Balga.
He always leaves me notes and places my stuff in well hidden spots.

I have ordered wine for him and he is is here at least once a week...

    Doesn't help does it???

maybe someone pinched it off your doorstep? I've had Aust Post guys leaving express post items unattended at my office door all the time.

Had a mate buy a tika T3 from a gun shop in Maylands as he was living down south they said once the coppers had sorted there bits out they would post it to him registered mail. He came home to find it sitting on the porch. bit of a worry when he mentioned it to the coppers as this was under the old system where the fire arm was to be presented at the cop shop for verification they said it happens allot with Australia post.

cant trust any one these days

    No I was home.

    I know they are bullshitting.

Even over the weekend it said still on for delivery Friday so I thought they hadn't had a chance to deliver it, then Monday morning the status was changed to Delivered 5pm Friday which was BS as I was home.

Either the theiving c&nt has kept it or delivered it to the wrong address.

Don't believe anything the Aus Post track and trace website says in relation to Express Post items. It can only state what day it was delivered, not the actual time or address-so it will say 5pm regardless of what time it was actually delivered on that day. Useless I know, but I deal with Apost everyday and they can't do anything half the time. Your best option is to get in touch with whoever sent the item and get them to deal with Apost directly. The fact that the status didn't change until Monday makes it sound even more suss. I'd say it was stolen.

Don't they require a signature for Express Post?
I'm having the same problem with a parcel from the US and it's been 5 weeks now and still no resolution in sight. The sender is trying to tell me I'm being impatient but I've had enough parcels from the US to know how long it can take.
On a slightly different tangent I caught the Aust Post contractor red handed after I watched him pull up and just slip a card in my letterbox without even knocking on the door. Needless to say I had a few choice words to say after I followed him to his next destination.

My last one was 6 days, California to Toodyay!

I've been having trouble with Singapore Post - twice reported as delivered, but......nothing. I've given up but the seller is going ballistic!....

I sent a pool cue overseas a few years ago, I'd sold it on eBay, was paid via paypal, it didn't arrive to the buyer, paypal deducted the purchase price from my bank, I had no recourse, was a $600 cue

Would there have been any identifying sticker on the parcel giving a hint as to what was inside the parcel? Would it have a tracking number?

Yes it has a tracking number.

Its possible that by feeling it you'd know whats in it.

I'm thinking about sending something to myself via express post then bailing up the driver when he rocks up at my house for "a chat"

Yeah I've got 2, yes, 2 subscriptions to AMCN magazine. I've had them since xmas.

I've seen roughly 12 of the magazines, and only received 2 at a time twice.

Someone is definitely pocketing one or both of my mags on occasion.

Now don't get me wrong, I even used to work for AusPost, but there's always bad eggs that spoil the basket.

Wonder if he does Westminster too, Always hiding our packages for us and leaving a note, guy is an absolute champ, also passed on our thoughts to auspost. After our letterbox was blown off he'd drive all the way to our doormat and place our mail under it. What's a good gift for a postie anyway ?

depending where you live, I'd say it got nicked by someone else.

Express parcels are allowed to be left at your door and do not require a signature.

Either get a larger, secure letterbox, get a PO box or get the stuff sent registered.
As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.
