If you woke up tomorrow morning and found out you were only 17 and the rest of your life to date had just been a dream, what have you done that if you had the knowledge of the outcome would you change?

My top ones would be:

- Not have started smoking
- Not deal with so many problems via the Bottle Shop
- Not have broken my best mates collarbone and 2 ribs after a silly blue and ending our friendship
- Spent more time with my oldies as they both died too young

Personally theres nothing much I would change.
That includes getting my spinal cord injury and putting life on hold for 9 months trying to walk again. ... if it meant I wouldnt meet my wife.

Maybe put a bit more effort into a few opportunities I had...
...and maybe being more selective on choosing Lotto numbers if I could remember any of them!

There was an ex of mine who was a severe waste of time, money and energy.

I got together with my Mrs when I was 14 so without getting all "Doc Emmet" lets assume that the eventual outcome relationship-wise would have remained the same, as well as our children.

I would have taken my place at Uni instead of rejecting the position to go work fulltime for a year. By the end of that year I had a $20,000 car loan and a mortgage.

I would have stayed at home longer and "lived it up" a bit instead of assuming so much financial responsibility so young.

Not have allowed myself to gain the weight I did.

Started riding motorcycles earlier

Would have gotten involved in a competitive sport sooner.

only 3/4 years ago for me, but i think i'd not get involved in the relationships I have been. They've been good and i've learnt a lot, but I would rather have spent as much time as possible around mates, being a young crazy guy instead of committed.

I would have not fucked around being a dole bludging half arsed student and gotten a job.

I wouldve gotten into real estate alot sooner. Houses used to be $50k FFS.

And I would have avoided credit cards...even though I knew they were bad, I had the typical 19yo attitude of "it wont happen to me"

Wouldnt change much else though really.

Would have waited for someone to help move the fridge and avoid long term back problems.
Tried harder to convince my father to buy 5 acres of land overlooking Eagle Bay near Dunsborough for $20,000 or robbed a bank and bought it myself.
