BFWTK: riding gear that matches your bike

How much is too much? From a convo starterd here - F3 675 MV Agusta - on order!
Personally I think wearing a jacket with the same manufacturer as the bike is a bit much, but what say you?
In life you only get one lap, might as well make it a good one.

Yes, I did, and they're gaudy as fuck.

    But it's ok, I ride a kawasaki
(and they were $220 delivered, so I'm claiming exemption due to extreme cheapness).

    Green and blue don't match.

    Poll needs a "Tattoo" option?

I'm not saying any of my bike gear has ever really purposefully colour matched BUT colour matching is better than brand matching. There is however a limit to colour matching.

I agree as far as stock bikes go, but I make an exception for people do a custom job of both. Like those guys on lucky strike clad bikes with matching leathers, they aren't too bad.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon! Press the brake foot as you roll around the corners, and save the collapse and tie up.

Saw a guy in Toodyay the other week rocked up on a White R1 wearing a repsol jacket?? Thought Shamrock musta binned his shit and got a new bike?

For some people colour matching is beneficial, ie black bike, black helmet leathers and boots... hmmm wonder who that could be... im serious, id have no fricken idea... mind you Karen stands out every time i see her, cos of her twig like figure

Black and green bike, black blue and white jacket, black and red helmet, so nothing matches, although i did try. I had a black helmet with a black jacket and black and green bike to start with, i then bought a blue bike and with that came the black blue and white jacket. The blue bike is gone and now i have a red and black bike, and a red and black helmet to go with it.
