It seems like I've been hearing a lot of top 500s etc. on the radio lately and thought it might be a bit of fun. It's always been done before but it's never bad right?

If there's enough interest I will tally up the song but I have a suspicion that there won't be a lot of common votes. So maybe it would be the most favouritest band/artist. We'll just see I guess.

So if you please - give me your top three songs of all time, in that order. (No equal firsts, nothing like that - be decisive!)

I guess I should get the ball rolling...

    1. Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
    2. Men At Work/Colin Hay - Overkill
    3. Meatloaf - For Crying Out Loud

I was born about twenty or thirty years too late

    Fuck, this could be hard.

    Blink182 - Dammit.

    INXS - Don't Change.

Elvis Presley - Viva Las Vegas (though I prefer the ZZ Top version - you have to salute the King)

    Honourable mentions.

Born Slippy - Underworld (the Ewan Macgregor voice over one is just dripping with, um, something)

ZZ Top - La Grange (absolutely awesome start)

    The Prodigy - Breathe.

Too many I know, but it's hard to distill this down easily

What's wrong with you guys- no one has mentioned Pearl Jam. WTF? Hey I know 'each to their own'.

    Anyway?

    1. U2- With or without you
    2. Pearl Jam- Better man (just pulled that one out of the air)
    3. AC/DC - Back in Black

So hard to nail three, although I chose songs from a new/ish era
