Read "One Day" recently and it was extremely good. Interesting way of telling a story, and was very poignant.

I see they've made it into a film though, with Anne Hathaway, fucksake. Oh, how I want to poke her in her googly eyes.

Its a true story, written by the kid (who is now grown up). Its very sad, and hard to believe that a kid could go through that, and survive.

Very powerful story. Make sure you read all three books. Its amazing that he achieved all that he has considering his past.

oh, oh, oh. To anyone with any taste....

The Contortionists Handbook by Craig Clevenger is the best book I've read in nearly a decade. There is a reason why Pahliunik, Irvine Welsh, Douglas Coupland, and my other favs rate this as one of the all time great first novels.

Yep, hasn't had a bad hit rate with me 1 for 1 so far, unlike my other favourites of late, Palahniuk, Easton-Ellis.

Really into the new Le Carre book, "Our Kind of Traitor". I was disappointed with "Single and Single", which was the first of his I read outside the Smiley/cold war series, so I figured cold war stuff might be all he could do.

I will be getting a hold of "The Constant Gardiner" next, I reckon.

Edit: Oh yeah, and I also thought "The Mission Song" sucked.

I went on Amazon to buy that (after the thumbs upses here), then bought his zombie survival book too, then bought World War Z too.
Stopped that train of thought at three books hahaha
