How did your nick name come about?
We did this about 18 months ago and was an interesting read.
Seeing we now have twice as many people, how did you all get your nicknames?

Last name is Rodda...
When I was on a CUO's course some smartass blacked out the R and the A so it just said ODD on my name badge...had a Captain in who was instructing on one thing or another who didn't realise it was a joke and the name Oddzy stuck...shortened to Oddz

well with my name i have heard it all through my school days, but the one nickname that has stuck with me for the last 14 yrs is swampy.
ok here is how i got it. My names marsha. Marsh is the name of a swampy...... therefore i got the name swampy.
i mean i have been called other stuff over the yrs but the one that i get all the time every so often is marsha marsha marsha.... man if i got a dollar everytime i heard that, i'd be a rich little gal now. lol
also have recently changed my nickname from swampy to ZX6Rbabe.

It's also the name of a character from DragonBall Z
Gohan is rice that has been rinsed and soaked for a while to get rid of the starch before it is cooked...I read that....in a beer magazine.

When i moved into a previous house my neighbour came over to introduce himself to me, he asked myflatmate what my name was, and as a joke they said "it's daisy mate"
and since then it stuck, except it was shortened to daise.

"Motaroo" is a character from the arcade game Mortal Kombat 3. "Motaroo" is half man half horse and just kinda stuck with me as a funky name/character. Then I got my best friend in the world <-------------------over there in my avatar and had to decide on a name for him......decided on "Montaroo" as I loved that name. Where does the extra "n" come from you may ask?.........well was actually a typo on his registration forms and I never noticed till like a year later, so I just stuck with it
now I just use it as my online name for everything

Mine started when a mate heard about the Dirty Sanchez, from me.
It got shortened to Chez, and Chester was the formal name

Being very practical (*read boring*) ....
My mum gave me mine for PSB! DOH!
On another list I am "The Blair Witch",(last names Blair)
I don't see well at night, so I tend to only do Social night rides when the full moons out and theres no clouds. Some one noticed I only turned up on full moon rides and asked if I was a witch or something, I said Yeah, Im the Blair Witch. And it stuck. Feral Femmes call me that too, they like witches!!

Working as a TA and needed to engrave my tools.
There was already a Doug on site, also with the same last initial.
Wasn't going to engrave my complete name.
"DUG" seemed the easy way to go.
When that junkie pizza boy got famous I copped 'dugy".

Annonymous signup name for all internet related things etc.
-Being real original ... Fred Smith
To spice it up (as it was often taken) the spelling changed over time until it was eventually xphread Smithe.
The 'X' was meant to be silent, but when you say "phread" people look for an F.
Hence me introducing myself to people as "ecks-phread". (... well GPX_Gal started it so I followed suit.)
