There is a 'Cameron' account here. That is also me, but I forgot the password and no longer had access to the email account I originally registered with, so I couldn't use that shit when I decided to stop lurking. I'll grovel to an admin one day to have it removed and this one renamed, but it really doesn't cause me any bother.

Pretty sure I messaged somebody about it when I started posting (months ago now) and hadn't heard anything back on it, not sure if the old account still exists, or had been deactivated, etc... so on and so forth. |

Lurked for a while then joined. When you're new it's too hard to remember names + nicks + faces, so rather than contribute to it I just used my name.
I has another nick (Captain Starfish) with the diving club. There is a story behind that one.
If you need to know, you already know 
One day I may ask to change, but for the time being simonl will do. Plus I've now painted that nick on my fairing.

My PSB moniker isn't a nickname - just Italian for Black Mosquito - my little black/chrome 50cc Vespa.... niiiiiiiing,niiiiiing, niiiiing. Had I thought it thru when I joined and realised I'd actually MEET people I'd never have made it such a mouthful....just call me Zanza
My actual nickname is LLAMA
......long story but boiled down to an obsession & running joke friends had about 15 years ago, with a character called Pamela Camel (to the point where they tried to buy another friend an inflatable camel from a sex shop - well they have sheep!!  but that's another story!).
This along with a "Lorna, is that spelt with two LLs ?" comment from one of the boys and their assertion that I had (somewhat like Pamela camel): big brown eyes, long eyelashes, a long neck & browsing lips. So from all of that somehow that made me llama....
Hey we were uni students, the mind is a strange thing. But it's stuck and I'm quite attached to it.
Ize a happy llama I is!
So call me Llama, Zanza or just plain Lorna...I'll answer to any of them - just don't call me late to the bar when it's your round!

hehehe - yes the llama song - llama, lllama, duck..... it just never ENDS!!! But spread the llama fun xphread - that's the way! I get so many llama things sent to me it's astounding what's out there....anyone remember llamatron where the llamas spit lazer beams at stuff like flying toilets??? Perhaps more in the realm of Geek's corner??
I also avoid wearing anything made of alpaca fur etc. cos I don't want to confuse people further lol
