wierd how you collect crap without ever really meaning too....
i've ended up with a few police patches that ive been given but im not really a collector. Ive got 30 odd dragons that i did collect , pewter, plastic, porcelain they are neat.
got every issue of australian performance streetbike including the japanese, italian and harley specials they issued and now so far ive got every issue of rapid.
be cool to collect toy motorcycles and load and behold i have 4 of them
i have stax of cd's (700+) when i used to spend heaps on them - still have my first cd ever bought - cocteau twins pink opaque - actually bought my first cd player in 86 (a crappy sherwood $200 jobby) because you could only get this album originally on CD.
ive got 7 camera's ( 5 digital and 2 film) but i don''t think im a collector of them either.
ive owned 15 bikes in 21 years of riding :-)
used to collect and play Magic the Gathering - how geeky is that 8-D
got a crapload of x-files and babylon-5 trading cards too
but i wouldnt call myself a collector

Used to collect stamps. Never really got anything spectacular. Got half-decent collections of pokemon and basketball cards. They sit there not doing anything
I'm starting to build a decent collection of sci-fi books. I thought I was doing well until I met a lady at work who has 7000+. I'd like to collect models of boats, bikes and cars, but I don't have the money at the moment. Might start trying to get one a week, see where I go from there.

Australian decimal coins & bank notes - I started it as a bit of an investment for my kids future, but ended up getting addicted (it can be an expensive hobby). I also collect model bikes (& even build a few of the plastic kit ones), but only have 10.

Millsy...someone else who knows of Neon genesis Evangelion!!! Was such an awesome show...except for the last one...what a disapointing end to an awesome series:-(
I did die cast kit model cars that ya build yourself...untill some pricks broke into our house and stole them:-( I had about 10 or something at the time that I'd built myself...bastards, no regard for sentimental value! Got a few new ones, but other than that I have a decent dvd and cd collection...funds a bit tight atm tho so hasn't been expanding as of late...

Music. I know a lot of people like music, but i collect. I collect what i am interested in, but also just oddities/original prints in obscure musical fields, vinyl, cd etc. I have about 4000 CD's, 1500 vinyls, 400 tapes and 45,000 MP3's that are not covered by any of the CD's/Vinyl's. I trade a lot via Europe for live shows and memorabilia. i love getting hand numbered stuff.

Same just hit the 1000 mark the other day. If you're interested DVD profiler is a good cataloguing program and Boltz storage for keeping them on.
