    DWTK - Horror Movies

What is the best horror movie you have seen.
I'm not after crap slasher flicks, but stuff that really fucked with your mind.

    B-Grade slasher flicks FTW

I'd love to help but I have seen so many horror movies that all their names and plots escape me

Don't know about horror but Mindhunters was a spin
Also liked the ones "Along Came a Spider" and can not remember the other one????
If I remember I will post it up.
    Had Ashley Judd in it.
I live in my own little world, but it's OK they know me here

The treatment of the women in '28 days later' fucked with my head, but I don't know if that's strictly what you mean. A Clockwork Orange also impressed me. Copycat was good. Ringu was fucking awesome, but probably because while watching it I was alone in a dark house, with way too much coffee.

One scene only, from memory they reach the military encampment and the two girls are forced into a room, advised to dress themselves ?seductively? and the impression upon me was that they were being prepped for something sinister.

Just my impression, probably coloured from actual accounts of similar events experienced by people i know. Not really horror movie type scary but at the time i remember watching that scene thinking how powerless I'd feel if that were me surrounded by and at the mercy of (due to their strength) individuals with such intentions.

I don't believe that we're all doomed to de-evolve like that but the prospect scared the shite outta me.

    Lol sorry .. /tangent.

Fright Night is one of my favs Classic horror comedy with some great lines.
Spookies ... taped that when i was a kid, rewound a bit to see what it was like and saw the bit at the end where all the zombies are coming out of the ground and it freaked me out! Didnt watch it for another week or two
The Shining This was a bit of a head fuck ... just a really uneasy feel about the movie, great atmosphere

Can't think of too many more movies at the moment, but i do remember a few where after it finished you kinda felt weird walking into dark rooms Definitely candidates... but obviously not memorable enough

Hostel was a bit off. I still have trouble watching the tendon slicing.

    Hmm...

Hellraiser scared me a bit as a kid, but it's well dated now.

Unfortunately most "horror" movies are crap :|
