DWTK: Windscreen replacement places

Hiya - due to an unfortunate accident, my car windscreen has a star in it, edge to edge. It's not repairable, it must be replaced.
O'Briens quoted me $640 for a weekday job, $800 for a weekend job. They also said having a rare car (?? - 1992 Toyo MR2) it's lucky they have it in stock.

Can anyone make any other recommendations? They were the first people I called simply because I know them from all their marketing - I don't know of anyone else.

Try the toyota wreckers, then search PSB.
I remember some of the hail threads had some members saying how busy they were, being windscreen fitters.

see if they have your car windscreen they do it brand new, and if they do you may just have to pay for fitment

oh and btw those guys are windscreen wholesalers, they dont do fitment

I used for my MR2 ($280 I think), and then about a month later for my Holden Rodeo ($260). Both times he was the cheapest there was & was absolutely no different (a little more thorough if anything) to other windscreen replacement jobs I've witnessed; he also came to my home which is a plus.
