EWTK - Best Aftershave & Perfume

Hi all,

I have my favourites but every time I go to Myer, David JOnes etc to buy something new there's hundreds to sample and after smelling half a dozen they all smell the same as the scents last in your nose for a while. Makes it hard to accurately assess new options.

So what are your favourites? Feel free to list your favourites both to wear yourself and for smelling on your partner.

M - Farenheit
M - Vera Wang for men
F - Vera Wang for women

Being around stong perfumes make me sneeze. I can't wear them, and I hold my breath going through Myer etc

But on my man a little Brut is good.

Don't mind a little deodorant in the pits, though if it's the aluminium style antiperspirant it can make your tongue go funny

Prefer no perfume. Or, if it must be on, then a very subtle one. That doesn't have the granny rose smell. Peppery and sharp, but faint is okay.

They both have a good sniff factor about them but i dunno what they are.
Ones in a red bottle the other in a clear one.

I have about 20 different bottles but swap between those at the moment, usually change to something else as it gets warmer.

They are what Psyched wears and I like them

You can get samples from Perfume Connection (either online or in their stores) and they are about $3 - $4 each, handy to try out a perfume before committing to a chunk of money and not liking it when you actually get to wear it a few times.

What about the blue collar set? You try rolling up to a building site with bling sniffs on and see what sort of reaction you get.

Lynx and impulse have their place. Every day work use.

Wear it out on a date? Ill be the first to drop ya like a sack of steaming dog poo.

i dont think my age is relevant to me having taste, sorry.

i know what sort of reaction i would get rolling up to a building site with my "bling sniffs" on

everyday work use for a blue collar worker = anti-perspirant.

here&#39;s a tip: dont lick the pit if your tongue goes all funny


i got some aftershave in the cupboard that&#39;s about 15 years old. no idea what it is. i just dont use it. the missus has some sorta perfume which i smell sometimes and like. dunno what that is either. i&#39;m just an ignoramus i guess

bit if lynx under the arms is all i use mostly

as I site worker, working under uninsulated cement tiles in the middle of summer, I can happily say that any sort of anti-perspirant/cologne is a waste of time & money.

For men: I really like Joop "Homme", and the green one (I forget its name) "Play" or something, and I&#39;m loving Hugo Boss... there&#39;s just too many to choose from but Joop always makes me waek at the knees

Me Personally - right now I&#39;m wearing "Princess" (duh!) by Vera Wang, though my collection also consists of Britney&#39;s "Curious", Burberry something-a-rather, The Body Shop "White Musk" and Jean Paul Gartier and some Galliano "Vanilla" that you can&#39;t get anymore.

*covers Tim&#39;s eyes* There&#39;s a few other&#39;s I kinda fancy being Ralph "Hot", i like some in the Jlo collection and Britney "Fantasy"
