Nup.
Barfridge is super short and super fantastic.
Maybe there is a correlation between shortness and fantasticalness??

anyone around my height
slightly taller or shorter is best for me

Personality is #1, but most are taller than me anyway...so, yes prefer taller
Def plays into all the 'protector' and 'damsel' cliches but you can also look like a freak show. Also doesn't help for those random acts when you have to say 'Can you lean in a little so I can enact this moment of passion' - kinda kills the moment really

At 5'8" I am a shortarse. in relation to my peers at least.
compared to slightly older folk, not so much, bottom end of average maybe.
Have gone out with one chick before who was taller. Wasn't that much of an issue. Dont think I could do the height difference like barfy and Cilla though.
Would make the match just a bit more work. If its right, shouldn't be that much, at first anyway.
Same goes the other way though. chick cant be too much shorter.

As the resident PSB Pygmy at 5'6" tall I don't have a problem with my height, it doesn't hurt so much when I fall over drunk
Most of my ex GF's have been taller than me (which isn't difficult ), with the last being 5'8", and having a thing for really tall heels, but as stated before, We were still the same height in bed though
Although I have noticed when out and about, that a large proportion of Aussie women do go for taller guys, which means I am pretty much screwed
Don't have an issue with height on the bike that much either (fuck off desmo/nath, i know it was one of you that made the comment at the dyno day, when i was shuffling the R1 outside )
Oh and talking of comments, the best one I ever heard, was when I was best man at my best mates wedding, lined up for the photo's and my friend Grazza (the fucker!), who is standing in the crowd, waits for complete silence then shouts "look at Rico, the page boy!!!", everyone laughs at my expense, Grazza then quickly apologized to my dad, thinking he may of offended him in someway?, my dad who was nearly pissing himself laughing, thought it was an awesome comment, and it has been qouted many times since! Wankers

no way hosay never did and never would, need to be over 6'3" to get a look in
it's like the hair/shoe thing, some ladies wouldn't give a second look to guys with dirty looking hair or shitty looking shoes

Personally, if a girl is too short it's just as bad as being too tall.

I'm 5'3 soooo I guess I went out with a shorter man then me... I'd be dating a midget. So taller men FTW!

how short is too short/too tall?
Preference would be anywhere between 5-6 foot.
out of those boundaries, and then things start to look silly/become awkward.
Yes. I am shallow.

Too short is the top of her head is closer to my belly button than my eyes, too tall is her eye level is above mine.

My sister (5'10") used to bitch that all the tall guys were chasing short girls and all the short guys were chasing even shorter girls, so that left her up shit creek without a man to do the paddling. So she did what any self-respecting woman would do...and started riding motorbikes.

Hmmm...well I am 6' 4" and my wife is 5' 1/2"......no issues
As Uncle Ho said...once you're horizontal...nothing else matters.

being 6' 6" and the missus being 5'9" we find it fine, i wouldn't care how tall or short my partner was. except a midget. that would be creepy. ebing so tall and all, it would be like carrying a child......
