2 of my mates rode bikes in the late 80s. a GSX250 & VF750 interceptor. I was too chickenshit to get my RE cause I was still living with the olds.
Anyway years later I saw I-Robot with Will Smith & that fanstastic MV Agusta. Not long after that, saw the Ewan & Charlie videos a few times and it got me started.
....better late then never

About a year ago I noticed the Bonneville somewhere, decided to do a bit of research and the rest is history. Still don't have the money to learn to ride, but I still love Triumph.

Growing up, whenever i'd talk about bikes I'd always say something like 'Yeah, I'd love to get something like a Ninja!' for some reason I always knew there was a bike called a Ninja but didn't know any other bikes.. Looking at them now, I don't think inwould ever own one

first bike to pique my interest was an old kawasaki ke 100 that i convinced the kids who owned it that i could ride, i was only 4 but tall for my age lol and i proceeded to wind the throttle on and lowside on the first corner. From there it was MX bikes all the way til my AE50 suzuki moped/scooter got me on the road and swapping my 2 year old YZ250 for a 12 year old rz500 had me hooked on road riding.

The immortal Yamaha PW50 (Pee Wee).
Got one when I was about 5 years old and have loved bikes ever since.
Hmm, that's a quarter century of riding. Feeling old now...
