Hi PSB

I have been trying to hatch Triops / Billabong Bugs for a couple of years now with no real luck. I was wondering if anyone has managed to hatch these little crustaceans and if so, how did you go about the process?

I have made sure the water temp is at 25 degrees and maintain temperature with a lamp, I use demineralised water (some times I have add a conditioner to the water) and have even put the eggs in the fridge prior to hatching to simulate winter. I also make sure I only use a glass bowl to hatch them in and I make sure it has not been in contact with chemicals. Sometimes I have really tiny triops hatch but then they disappear after a day or two

I think someone is making money selling $15 bags of red dirt to plebs like me. Maybe it's all a conspiracy *shifty eyes* I refuse to believe they're a real creature until I see a mature one fo' real
