the nazi symbol you see all over indonesia is not a representation of the nazi swastika. That symbol has been in Balinese culture for over 200 years.

It's a Hindu symbol since forever....I saw it in Nepal, up in the mountains - certainly caused some consternation to a German fellow-traveller

Yup, an inversion of ancient symbol used in a number of Indian faiths. Aryan as a term has roots there as well. Funny how fanatics or the desperate borrow as they choose from history

Differently yes, ie the whole Pakistan thing has created serious bad blood. Ours as a nation is a bit more multiple choice.
