IMO I don't think we are racists as a country, we couldn't be.. As mentioned we allow alot of immigrants here, both legal and illegal.
I'm married to an Italian, my 2 best mates are Pom's, and I don't actually know many Aussie's that are 5th generation like me.
I love the cultures of other country's, I reckon it's great they can bring them with them and hang on to them. However, I like my culture, in my country and I don't think I should change, and I don't think I should have to make allowances for others. i.e. the lady who didn't have to remove her head gear for her licence photo. And saying Season's Greetings instead of Merry Christmas.

On saying all this, Australian's are some of the laziest workers I've ever met! More so the younger generation 15-25 they suck! (steriotypically)

I'm not from this country. I'm from a place that has been through more than most countries as far as cultural coalescing is concerned.

I think Australia is a great place to live, but racist it is. I'm not judging, or blaming, but it is. Almost everywhere is.

Australia is a very young country. It has a lot to learn and I'm sure it will get there in the end. I really hope the attitude towards different cultures change.
