So lab conversation only took twenty minutes to move off geology this morning. Discussion then centered on crap heroes, be they super or just heroic.

So, who do you find to be the crappest hero and why?

John Connor was a curious choice by a mate. According to him, he - in all iterations of Terminator - seems to be a whiny bitch... Thinking it over, maybe he has a point.

Frodo was another good suggestion.

Why: Because he's managed to move from fictional depiction of a deranged person into someone that's worshipped legitimately by a large number of the population.

Spiderman, only in the movies though, not so much the comic. Half the first movie was just about him being a whiny little bitch.

Hell no, I'm just going by the behaviour of some of the people you see on TV at politician's "election parties" on election night. Still amazes me how people idolise and hero-worship pollies.
