The Yardbirds and the Byrds. - both at about the same time.
The Yardbirds, because of the guitar riffs (they had Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page at various times, sometimes together), and with the Byrds, it was that twangy 12 string of Jim McGuinn, along with Dave Crosby's superb songs (well, the ones I liked, anyway)

hahaha ^^ mine is the same.
i used to collect photos of the spice girls from magazines and compiled them in this huge file.
also used to goto school with my hair done like scary with those random bun things across my head.
hrrrm.
