Is it ok for men to hold umbrellas to shield them from the sun?

I notice quite a number of ladies this morning holding brollies to shield them from the sun today.

I considered the comfort from shade and the protection it offers against the strong UV of our Australian sun. But fuck me... I would sure feel mighty awkward (gay) if I did.

    What are your thoughts?

If holding an umbrella makes you feel gay what do you do when it rains?

I have used one when hiking for hours out in the bush to shield from sun and rain.

True, but if science had the funds religion has enjoyed for eons we might have better explanations by now, or at least hover shoes.

I'll throw a brolly up on a golf course (holder on the buggy) if I'm gonna be in the sun for 4 hours.

    Walking to work. No.

To be worried about how you look as a man holding an umbrella in the sun is to be insecure.
    Insecurity is for women.

Real men don't give a shit. Enjoy your cancer.
