Come to Gucce in Applecross. A bit more expensive than Il Ciao but much nicer; no queuing up for starters!
The fact that I work at Gucce has nothing to do with my opinion... It's a bit more fine dining but my friends have always enjoyed it.

Sienna's in Leederville.
Nice atmosphere, fast service, excellent prices, have dined twice there now, and enjoyed the meal on each occasion. Going back again on Saturday night.

what we need is a psb resturant card that gives discounts for visiting certain places and all that kind of jazz
like a frequent shopper card maybe the kind psb staff could look into it??
just a thought

Agree with u on that one Champ!! Food is great, always busy, needs a tad more atmosphere. Also worth a visit in the Park is Sebastions & Christinas.
Our local Casa del Amici is also worth a visit.

Ruocco's in Freo isn't bad. Nothing fancy but has a nice casual atmosphere and their pizzas are pretty good. Bit of a freo institution too.

How about a semi-casual place North of the river?
Was thinking Siena's in Leederville, more central, but read in another thread that the sauce was a bit funny (can't take an Italian girl to a place that doesn't serve good Italian sauce).

Went to Sebastians last week. Food was great, service was lacking. But it was daym busy so can't blame them for that.
I'm going to try Mille's Cafe in Mt Lawley tonight
