I refer to my bike as a girl, for example "yea she's running cleaner now", and Aji refers to her bike as a bloke.

I want to know if rider sex has an effect on the chosen sex of the bike. Hopefully the poll will show a trend.

I refer to my bike as a "he" and my partners bike as a "she". My partner refers to all bikes as "she" why?? I have no idea but am told it is a boy thing?

I'm sure when I get a more pretty one I'll be happy to call it a "she", but right now it's more of a banged up John Rambo than a pretty woman.

My bike is the Blue Bullet - if anything it would probably be a 'she', but as a heterosexual female, I'm ok with that. My car is a he, his name is Xavier. I don't think it is anything to do with the sex of the rider - more to do with the type of bike. But maybe guys have more of a problem with riding a 'male' bike?
