Rash Shirts & bottoms for swimming/snorkeling

    Hi folks,

I want to take my GF snorkeling & swimming, but being a ranger she does do well in the sun.

Who in Perth has the best range of Rash Shirts & Bottoms (Full length)

    Dive Stores or Clothing Stores?

    Thanks

Dive shop on Scarborough beach road, MT hawthorn does a full length rashie type thing. Plush lined too. Mate has one and reckons its pretty good. More designed as a wettie liner but will keep the sun off from head to toe.

Dive shops have what you're looking for. Ask for a 'Stinger' suit. I use Australasian Dive Academy In Cannington (mostly cos they're close to me). Nelson will help you get the sizing right. I just bought a new 5mm wettie from them and have been very happy with it.

Edit: Check the box for a SPF rating too. Some are UV resistant, others aren't. Go for one with SPF 50+

A cynic is a man who, when he smells flowers, looks around for a coffin.

Dear god, it's some weird bastardized three wheeled two person go-kart.

You can also get them from the Cancer Council - Swim Skin (Cotton - Lycra), more of a drag suit though, I used to train in one of them for my swim to Rottnest, bought one of the under the wetsuit ones for the actual swim to Rotto, brand Restless (long sleeve as well) was in the water for 9 hours (long story) and didn't get burnt, so they must be pretty good Tip - if you're going to wear them for a loooong swim, wear them inside out!!

Bought the Restless suit from the Dive shop on High Rd, near Leach Hwy
