thai orchid in mount lawley. they've won lots of awards. used to be a small take-away place but they've expanded into a restaurant due to their popularity over the years.

they make the best yellow curry and pad-thai i've had

well went to kalis in leederville - pretty much shit

entrees - tempura prawns . herbed scallops - not bad but 4 of each at $15 each

mains - i had blue crab linguine, well im sure the linguine must have been near some crab at some time but there sure as hell wasnt much in my plate

mate ordered chilli mussells only to be told they had run out WTF ????, second choice was Seafood chowder - crap , bland and watery, ive had thicker canned soups

we had to ask for a our wine 3 times before it finally turned up.

to their credit , when i complained to manageress, she did seem apologetic and took the wine off the bill, but still disappointing and wont be rushing back.

A mate runs Cafe del pescatore under jimmy deans at Scarborough beach- Awesome seafood platter but not so cheap $60 I think- the platter for 1 does 2 people.
The Joe's fish shack platter with the entertainment book voucher is a winner too.

    Thai:
+1 Dusit Thai, Sawanees, Thai Orchid, Sala Thai, Anna's on oxford st Leederville
Best Thai take away Ive had is next to Marcos pizza in Dog Swamp

Amarin Thai and Siam Orchard in Subiaco are both very good.

Don't go to seafood restaurants much, prefer to cook it myself, in the complex that centrelink are in at Innaloo, the supermarket there has really good quality & relatively cheap too.
Somehow it's reassuring knowing that I'm not the only one pretending to be normal.
