RWTK; How often do you clean your keyboard.

So after a practical joke in the office, i noticed that my keyboard was fucking rancid.

A good years worth of junk built up under the keys that re5uired a decent amount of cleaning.

(in the frenzy my kew key has escaped.. but who the fuck uses that letter anyway)

SO HOW OFTEN YOU CLEAN KEYBOARD?

Just because you don't have your 'Q' key I'm going to say that you will find you use it a lot more than you first thought.... and I might vacuum my keyboard once in a while...

We replace in the control room every so often as there seems to be the odd individual that will eat greasy chicken, lick their fingers then tap away on the keyboard, it fucking glistens.

Needs a fucking clean though. Last person who used it must have always been eting crap directly over it
Gutsy question. You're a shark. Sharks are winners, and they don't look back because they have no necks. Necks are for sheep.

downside of the apple keyboards - they show the putrid.

I occasionally tip and tap my keyboard.

    ... for snacks ...

I was gonna say something disgusting like "Only if semen is sticking couple of keys together", but thought better of it.

Every 6-8 weeks it gets a vacuum along with the PC & other stuff on my desk.
Gets replaced at least once a year, I just unboxed a new keyboard/mouse set this morning.

Probably are, as long as you let them dry out fully before you plug them back in.

Most electronics are washed with water (cause its cheap) after assembly to remove as much waste/contaminants as possible from the boards; a thorough drying out before passing any electric current through it is the key.

Personally I do a vacuum and wash routine on my keyboards/mice about once every 3 months.
    - Vacuum to get most of the stuff out,
    - Holding vertically remove the top and bottom row of keys,
    - Flush with a bottle of ISO PRO Cleaner Pump Spray until clean
    N0049_0_med_v1_m56577569835037285.JPG
    - Dry for a couple of minutes with a hair dryer (doesn't take long with the alcohol)
    - Profit!

Your mouse should be done too, all that stuff that gets on the bottom is your rotting skin cells! eww!
Some auto shops sell a very similar cleaning product but in a spray can.
