    RWTK - Your Fuel expenses

So I received a huge fuel bill from BP in the mail yesterday. I would like to see how quickly I am contributing to the planets demise compared to others on psb

$650 for 300 liters of fuel (200L of BP Ultimate for the car and bike and 100L for the work ute) and various pies, sausage rolls, coke and other assorted goodies. All this for multiple drives from Perth to Rockingham, once to Moora and the rest for work and pleasure.

How much did you spend on fuel, how many litres and did you buy food etc.? What is your rough commute length etc.

    $650: PULP @ $1.50 a litre accounts for only $450.

$200 is disappearing on account fees and the other shit you're buying in the shop when you pay for fuel...

I don't have an account but have a reasonable idea of fuel consumption - 250km a tank for about $19.00 and I blow through that in about 5 days of commuting (25km each way) or a bit sooner if I go on an LNR.

Car's a different story - 170l of diesel ($250) gets me just under 1000km. Farrrk. That's nearly 4x the cost of the bike!

Yeah I'm aware of how much I spent. My visa card got skimmed so I was buying with petty cash till I ran out and started buying lunch etc from BP. The Shop bill was $140ish

$1200 - $1600 per month for three service vehicles, varies seasonally. Ten years ago it was half that and we now run two LPG vehicles, which equate to approx $120-$200/month saving each. Anyone buys a pie or drink and I sack 'em.

    Just checked, fees are $9.90/month

Greatly impressed with the TDi, plenty of mumbo to with 320nm at around 1700rpm.
Can have the ECU Flashed to up the torque to 390nm + 170hp and still get same consumption!!

    Quick little oil burner!!

I'm not actually sure how much I spend on fuel each month. I just fill up when necessary. With the bad weather we have been having, I have been riding less and less so I guess that the fuel expenses would have increased as I'm using the car more

Think they quoted me around $200 for a minor service, use Synthetic oil with Platinum/Gold particles in it.
Major around $700 with all fluids, filters changed etc etc

Beats $1100 for major on my old 535 Bmw, or $1800 for a Cayenne S at Chellingworth!!!

hahah geez yehh I bet it would.... and a lot better economy too

I think they were replacing shit that didn't need to be replaced... They told her the discs were warped which I doubt so instead of machining them they replaced them... alll freaking 4 of them! what a load of crap. they would have been making some serious noise if they were all warped bad enough to replace fakkers.

Hmmm, the 535 would chew rotors every 2nd set of pads.
    Same with my father S320 + E320.
Guess the material of steel used on the rotors plus compound of pads eats it all up.

Great braking performance but you gotta pay!!!

Kind of makes me feel good about the old XH ute at $40 a rotor!!!!

Roughly 210-220 out of the majority of a tank and $25 to fill up.

Average of 5 tanks a week so say $125 a week for the bike fuel and maybe a tank a month in the car at around $100. So $675 on fuel in your average month.
We are small and exposed, and probably moving too fast for our own good, but that's no reason not to enjoy every minute of the ride.

I use about 7L/100km in the car (driving like I'm 80) and usually spend about $80/month on fuel. I used more in the bike but I don't keep track of it.
Is such a thing even possible?
