Working in oil/gas, mines info needed

Im after some info if anyone can help. I have been looking at a few jobs FIFO but finding it difficult to get into the industry. I dont have my HR but in the process of getting it. Im also willing to get whatever tickets that may be needed.
Now the problem I have is getting my foot in the door. I have tried numerous companies and havnt had any luck so far. I have applied for a field technician, drillers assistant, maintenance duties. I have a trade in panel beating, welding, spraypainting but this doesnt really help me in this field.

If anyone has any info or advice that would be appreciated. Pm is fine of post away.

    Cheers

We are using DT Workforce and Workpac for all our guys at the moment (Rio) will see if i can get a contact name for you.

How will such a small person go driving such large trucks though?
Men have motorcycles while women have mensutral cycles, you can't talk to either while they are on it. The women's also has a sound, it goes nag-na-nag-nag-nag, biiiiiitch-bitch-biiiiiiiitch!

I will supply the pillows to sit on .
On a more serious note, it has been a eye opener trying to find something suitable.
