Hey all,
Got myself a bike recently - a Honda CBF250 - and I'm completely new to motorbikes. I bought it second hand and the gentleman I bought it from suggested I check out this site so... hello!
At the moment I'm still learning so won't be able to come on any trips but I'll lurk around for the next while until I get my license proper then get more involved hopefully.

Having an L plate is no drawback, get some lessons then post up in a ride thread you would like to attend, easy peasy.
Tip though is to have your actual suburb in your profile, as this helps shadows to work out if they can help you out or not

Cheers for the welcome folks - I didn't realise there's so much helpful information on this site, I've spent the best part of the morning trawling through forums and guides and various how to's and do's and don'ts - all the fineries that a newbie like me needs to know.
I'll definitely get out on a group learner ride once I've a few more lessons under my belt.

Welcome! Yay for the CBF. I remember rocking that bad boy myself ... She's not too powerful but she's sprightly! Does u-turns in a distance the big bikes can only dream of!
