    Ello peoples,

Just wanted to say a quick 'ello.
Basically i'm 25yrs old and looking at getting myself a road bike.
I've previously owned and ridden a couple of 125 and 250cc dirt bikes but I'm now looking to get my bike licence and get a bike for commuting and to have some fun on.
I've always liked the idea of owning a bike but have constantly been put off by the stupidity of the other road users in Perth and the constant nagging of the missus and me mum !!

The only part i'm not looking forward to is riding a 250 for a year ... I can just feel that its gonna get boring very quickly ... especially having ridden bikes offroad plus owning a couple of modded turbo charged cars ... see how it goes i suppose !!

Can anyone recommend a good riding instructor ?
Can anyone recommend a good bike .... wish you could ride the RFV400R over here ... bloody cc restrictions !!

    Cheers

    Stuart

    Welcome aboard

Yep it's such a shame having to do the 250 thing these days, should be like most sports and be issued on prior learning

dammit that's a quick hello? lol

    ok to answer your questions,

    1. yes, call Tai @ Elite or click here.

    2. yes, honestly, the easiest bike to ride 250-wise is a honda CBR250 but personally, i think they're fugly... kawasaki's on the other hand, now they are a sexy beast... (contrary to some ppl's opinions in this forum but you'll find you come on a newbie ride, a large percent of the bikes are kwaka's anyway...)

so yeh, that's my 2 cents...

    welcome

    G'Day, welcome.

Tai from Elite is a great instructor...I'd also recommend Simon from Smartrider at Lathlain.

My suggestion for a 250 would be a Suzuki RGV or Aprilia RS250. I'm guessing if you've been into dirt bikes you already know the pros and cons of 2 strokes.

    Cheers
