Mind you i ride with a WW2 helmet, a black " buff " rag ( lightweight tubular slide on face mask, and OAKLEY Monster dog sunglasses, so you cant see my face at all so you wouldnt know where i am looking , OR smiling ( so still cool according to some HARLEY riders, but the old Maori head nod ( once were warriors ) is a nice little salute to fellow riders and i quite often pull up at lights ( love the centre lane to scare motorists ) and say gday to other riders.

There is a medieval faire on the 31 March at the supreme court gardens if anyone is interested. There will be demonstrations and displays and Medieval type stuff.

Cheers for the welcome. Hope you are doing well with life after Army, or are still goin hard if still in. If you are interested in doing some training, i have a website going which explains a bit sbout my current hobby. Been copping a bit of stick about the LARP dressing up stuff but that is only a minor part. It is about the combat training and the fighting that should be the main focus and is what i now enjoy. Anyway, i know that i still miss being in the Army, the training ,and comradery and once again cheers mate.

Well Fuck me if i didnt get pulled over on the first day back on the road. Just finished doctors appt and was riding in front of my brother having just entered Winthrop Ave heading to Stirling Hwy intersection, attempting to enter the left hand lane behind some little old lady, when she has seen the filth on the side of the road, approx 100m from intersection, and applied the brakes. I was committed to changing lanes and instead of braking, and being rear ended ( which was a previous choice on a past situation,and, resulted in being hit by the car behind me ), i powered on and entered the left hand lane in front of her. I had spotted the cop prior, but didnt care as my actions had avoided collision and were a reactive measure.
Well mr plod has signaled me over and written me a ticket for 74 in a 60 zone. When i pulled over so did my brother. His bike is real loud so he killed the engine and whilst the cop was checking my liscence and writing a ticket, my bro pleaded that i remain calm so he didnt cop a sticker for any of the multiple violations his bike could warrant. I was fuming and decided to light up and take deep breaths and hold my tongue. To be continued.........

I was sitting at home having a coffee and a smoke when my son came running out and said that someone was knocking on the front door. I walked around the side of the house and there in the driveway was an unmarked cop car. I got questioned over an altercation i had with some idiot who pulled out in front of me recently. Looks like another charge coming. What a weekend.

heres another good story. I came home from training last knight and walked out the back to put my sword and helmet away and walked past my bike. Something wasnt right. Hold on a minute , it was another FATBOY (1998). I looked around the corner and there was my bike. My neighbour soon came over and told me he had just bought it. 2 FATBOYS in the street now, but sucked in to him because he doesnt have a licence. And, i got a phone call from the filth saying that no charges were to be layed as they realised that i had been provoked by a dickhead who bit off more than he could chew and then had a sook to the police.
