welcome I have done a bit of riding in malaysia they have some awsome roads up in the genting highlands and cameron highlands
my mate over there runs tours out of Kota Damansara.

One of my fond Malaysian memories is the hoards of scooters racing each other off the mark at the lights. They have the big display that counts down the time till the lights change and you'd hear this buzzing as it got to 3,2,1 and then they'd all be off with dragster style launches. Funny stuff.

Feizal is the tour leader and boss of Malaysian Motercycle getaways.
the lights in KL are funny like the start of a GP great clouds of 2 stroke smoke and there off.

And when walking on the sidewalk in the city look out for bikes (scooters as you call them) coming up the wrong way of the street and in some cases riding in all directions on the sidewalk itself. Madness.
