Hi people,

Thought I would finally join another forum here in Perth.
Been riding (12 years now) mainly road trails for the first say 6 years of my bike "career" if you could put it that way before buying a new DL650 Wee-Strom. This also gets involved in the dirt action but predominantly spends more time on the tarmac.
For the last 18mths I've been babysitting a mates duke (916 monster) that impressed me with its brute power and wonderful sound from the termignoni pipes................at the same time scaring the Sh*t out of my (occassionally).
This Duke sounds like a V twin should, and not a Janomi sewing machine like my Wee! (Sorry girl - gently patting the seat!!)

This Duke has however influenced and strengthened my passion for road bikes and now I find myself divided between a Yamaha FZ1 Fazer or a Kawasaki Z750.........oh the decisions! (perhaps the wife wouldn't notice If I got both?)
Getting too old to be "alby mangels" going bush and falling off again! This state is too damn sandy! Sand and I have had our disagreements!
Thankfully both Tarmac and I get on well!

What else to say. Hmmm I love my wife and kids and dont want to ride at supersonic Hayabusa speeds.

Welcome mate, i hear ya bout the sandy state. Sold my dirt squirters not long after moving here lol. Should stick with a twin. Dont worry bout the wife- forgiveness is easier than permission! Buy both.
