    Hey Cameron,

    Welcome to the board.

Before a recomendation can be made on a 250, riders need to what type of riding you're looking at doing, and what type of style of bike you like.

I like the Honda VTR250 and the Hyosung GT250r which are nice two cylinder bikes which are good for city riding. Others might recomend the CBR250. Do you ride with any other bikes?? Do you like Sport/Street bikes, dirt bikes, or cruiser (harley-type) bikes? Are you looking at riding just around town or going for long rides?

    Thanks

Um looking for a street/sports bike. Something that I would be able to ride to work most days (30+km each way), but also take for longer rides every now and then. I must say I have never ridden any other bikes besides from a few off-road 3&4 wheelers. I know a lot of people who ride bikes and they love it, particularly my dad who I would like to go on rides with when I can.

I was looking at the GT250R and CBR250, but atm I am leaning towards the Ninja250R. It all depends on how much each costs of course. Most likely I will be looking at the $5000 or less mark.

Yeah, the Ninja is a lovely looking bike too. I think the brakes are also much better (well less woody) than the hyosung. I remember seeing a youtube video not to long back that had a direct comparisen between the two.
