My name is John & I'm doing what I know is not the brightest and going to join the high risk re-entry group in their 40's. The stats are against me according to the road safety research data...high risk group/ fatality risk.
I got my bike licence when I was 17 & rode until late twenties. Then the family thing sort of got priority & the bikes went west.
Now the kids are independant & the burn has returned!
I've been kicking around the idea for a while.............looking, reading, kicking tyres...........and finally decided to do it............buy another road bike.
After long deliberation & several test rides I have zero'd in on a 2008 Triumph Sprint with ABS.
Just gotta win the wife over that she will enjoy some nice quiet Sunday rides!
Hope to get things sorted & have it in the garage next week.

Hi and welcome, don't be that sure you are super high risk

The best way to assess your risk is to get an insurance quote

They keep the stats and charge according to your risk. I have a feeling your risk may be a heap less than a 19 year old with the same bike
